What we hold, and what we do not

This site names individual companies and explains their figures, so where the person who writes it holds one, that is stated plainly - here, and again on the company's own page. It is the ordinary standard in financial journalism, and this site asks you to trust it precisely because it has nothing to sell you.

Listed below is every company on this site where real money is at risk. Amounts, weights, entry prices and gains or losses are not published: what matters to you is that an interest exists, not how large it is. Two other things are deliberately absent. A separate automated experiment trades a German stock market index, which involves no individual company on this site. Another runs on a practice account with no real money in it, and a simulated position is not a holding.

15 companies.

This list is generated from a single declared record when the site is built, and the same record puts the notice on each company's own page, so the two cannot disagree. More about how the pages are made is on the methodology page.
